Kasey Cox was named the head coach of the Palm Beach Atlantic softball program in June of 2025.
Cox led the Sailfish to a 21-30 overall record in her first season at the helm of the Sailfish softball team. The .412 winning percentage in her first season is the highest mark since 2021. The team finished with an 11-19 record in SSC conference for an 8th place finish. She had three Sailfish earn All-SSC honors (Larken Maseda, Rylee Little, and Dianna Montidoro).

Cox arrived in West Palm Beach following a highly successful, two-year tenure at Indian River State College, where she served as pitching and catching coach for the 2024 NJCAA National Champions. During her tenure, IRSC was ranked the No. 1 team in the NJCAA, the highest in program history, and posted a 100-19 overall record. Under her guidance, the program produced back-to-back FCSAA Pitchers of the Year in 2024 and 2025.
Cox brings nearly a decade of collegiate coaching experience, including previous stops at Louisiana State University Eunice and Mississippi College. At LSUE, she served as recruiting coordinator and helped lead the Bengals to a 2022 NJCAA World Series appearance. Her teams compiled a 111-64 record during her time in Louisiana, while producing multiple NFCA All-Americans.

A former Division I student-athlete at Tennessee State University, Cox holds a bachelor’s in human performance and sports science. Her coaching journey began at Mississippi College as a graduate assistant, where the team set a school record for wins in 2019 and she earned a master’s degree in athletic administration.
