SKILLMAN, N.J.- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced their regional and national postseason award winners on Wednesday with a pair of Palm Beach Atlantic women’s tennis players selected as honorees. Senior Leydi Zora was named the ITA South Region Senior Player of the Year while junior Natalia Trotter was chosen as the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award.

GREENVILLE, S.C.- The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Region announced their All-Region selections on Tuesday with three Palm Beach Atlantic players named to the mix. Senior shortstop Mari Stokes earned the recognition for an impressive fourth straight season while sophomore Camille Benito and junior Lisa Santos each were named for the first time.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Senior men’s tennis player Luke Bolanos has wrapped up a standout four-year career wearing the Blue and White. His contributions have made him one of the most well rounded student-athletes at not only Palm Beach Atlantic but in the nation. His most recent accomplishments come from the NCCAA as he was named a member of the All-American first-team while also being selected for the second straight year as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award winner.

GREENVILLE, S.C.- If winning the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Championship last week wasn’t enough, the Palm Beach Atlantic women’s tennis team also brought home numerous individual accolades as well. Leading the way was the announcement of Coach Chi Ly being named NCCAA Coach of the Year while Victoria Baca, Veena Vasquez, Leydi Zora and Natalia Trotter all were chosen to the NCCAA All-American teams.

TIFFIN, Ohio- The Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) named four Palm Beach Atlantic baseball players on Friday to the All-ICAA teams with senior Travis Murray making the All-ICAA first-team while Justin Sizemore and Brooks Fleming earned a spot on the All-ICAA second-team. The honors for all three players are the first of their careers as they helped lead PBA to a 20-24 season.

MOBILE, Ala.- After four straight runner-up finishes at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament, the Sailfish would not be denied this time around. The Palm Beach Atlantic women’s tennis team claimed their second NCCAA National title on Friday afternoon as they defeated nemesis Dallas Baptist University by a score of 5-2 to become the first PBA program to earn multiple NCCAA team titles.

STARKVILLE, Miss.- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their 2012 All-Region teams on Thursday with 204 student-athletes from 89 institutions spread out over eight NFCA regions, with a first and second team for each region. One of the selections was Palm Beach Atlantic junior second-baseman Lisa Santos who was named to the All-Region second-team.

TIFFIN, Ohio- The Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) announced their annual award winners on Wednesday for the sport of softball with Palm Beach Atlantic landing four players on the All-ICAA teams. Junior Mary Pippin was the lone All-ICAA first-team selection for PBA while also being named Co-Pitcher of the Year while Kara Anderson, Camille Benito and Lisa Santos all earned All-ICAA second-team honors.

MOBILE, Ala.- The Sailfish women’s tennis team earned their third win on Thursday as they continued play at the NCCAA National Tournament. The squad posted their third straight 5-0 sweep as they knocked off Pool A runner-up Indiana Wesleyan University with the Sailfish clinching a spot in the NCCAA title match to be played on Friday.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Clarisse Garcia  resigned Tuesday as head coach of the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s basketball team.
