ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- After a tough loss during their season opener at Harding University, the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s soccer team (1-1) bounced right back with a 3-0 victory over Ouachita Baptist University, wrapping up their series of road games in Arkansas.

ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- The Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s soccer team looked to make it a second straight Labor Day weekend with a pair of victories against Harding University and Ouachita Baptist University, both of the Gulf South Conference, only to come up short. After taking down the Harding Bison on Saturday by a 2-0 final tally, the Fish had that score reversed against them facing the Ouachita Baptist Tigers on Monday afternoon as they were defeated 2-0.

SEARCY, Ark.- After 80 minutes of scoreless play, the Palm Beach Atlantic University men’s soccer team finally broke through against a pesky Harding University defense as the Sailfish put two goals in the back of the net in the final ten minutes to win their season opener on the road in Arkansas. Freshman Chris Karafilov collected a loose ball and put home the game-winner in the 81st minute as the Sailfish downed the Bisons on Saturday afternoon.

SEARCY, Ark.- For the second consecutive year, the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s soccer team opened up their season on the road as they took on Arkansas native Harding University. The Lady Bison proved to be more than the Sailfish could handle as they scored early and often, taking their home opener by a score of 3-1.

BANNER ELK, N.C.- After battling against each other the past few weeks in preseason action, the Palm Beach Atlantic University volleyball team finally was able to test their skills against an outside competitor as they opened up their season on Friday afternoon at the Carolina Challenge, hosted by Lees-McRae College. The Fish opened up tournament play with a 3-0 sweep over Coker College as the team cruised to 25-14, 25-16, and 25-16 set victories.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Although baseball season is still months away, the Palm Beach Atlantic University program will be geared up for what they hope to be another solid step in establishing a top-notch program in the NCAA South Region. Led by second-year head coach and Major League Baseball Hall-of-Famer Gary Carter, the team has announced a competitive and challenging 50-game schedule for 2011.
